Hi Khan Academy!

I’m a designer with a passion for making complex information both beautiful and accessible.

My work spans UX, product storytelling, and scalable systems—always grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and care for the user. Below are a few examples that show how I bring visual systems thinking to UX and product design.

Translating digital products into story-driven sales tools for Visa

2022–2025

As a UX designer supporting the Visa Direct Global team, I translated backend product offerings into story-driven, user-focused prototypes that helped sales teams communicate real-world value. Working closely with a stakeholder at Visa who bridged product and marketing, I was trusted to shape loose user scenarios into fully clickable demos and static images for sales decks.

The work involved researching industry practices and competitors, mapping information architecture, wireframing, and visual design. I also created and maintained a robust and flexible Figma component library that enabled fast delivery across a range of user types and custom brand themes, all while navigating strict legal and presentation constraints (e.g. limited screens and no scrolling). These demos helped Visa communicate real-world use cases—from retail bank customers to CFOs—making their products more accessible and compelling to prospective clients.

Building systems to visualize product experiences with Dell

2023

As part of a multi-disciplinary team developing a UX Interoperability Toolkit, I focused on creating the Visual Toolkit—a system of reusable illustration components and templates—in Figma to support Dell teams in visualizing complex, cross-product experiences.

I designed and structured the library for consistency, ease of use, and scalability, using nested components and variants to enable flexible scene creation without compromising visual standards. The toolkit gave non-visual stakeholders a concrete way to communicate experience concepts, helping bridge gaps between strategy, design, and development.

Improving mobile app usability for an intelligent, wearable air filter

2019

I was the sole designer on a fast-turnaround project to visually refresh a mobile app for AVA, a wearable air filtration startup. While the original request focused on aesthetics, I delivered updated designs that also improved hierarchy, readability, and alignment with product goals—all while working within the technical constraints of an already-developed app.

Streamlining legal data workflows for LDiscovery clients

2016

I was hired to design a user portal for LDiscovery’s eDiscovery services—a platform supporting legal teams in managing sensitive data across complex, multi-stage workflows. My role involved translating nuanced technical requirements into a clean and scalable interface for project managers, legal professionals, and clients.

I created information architecture maps, flow diagrams, and annotated wireframes to clarify portal functionality, followed by full UI design across desktop and mobile devices. The result was a centralized platform that clarified a highly fragmented and data-heavy process.

Deepening accessibility to educational content

2015–2025

In addition to my UX work, I’ve used design to make complex information more engaging and accessible, especially in educational and community-centered contexts. The printed pieces included above had to communicate nuanced content to broad audiences, from youth and teens to local government stakeholders.
